Several K-pop singers, including members of the group BTS, competed at the US Grammy Awards but, unfortunately, did not receive nominations.
Previously, various K-pop artists, including BTS's Jimin, Jungkook, J-Hope, and RM, along with Blackpink, FiftyFifty, and Tomorrow by Together, submitted songs for consideration. However, none of them made it to the final list of nominees.
There were particularly high expectations for the 'Best Pop Duo/Group Performance' category, considering BTS's consecutive nominations for the past three years. However, the outcome proved disappointing.
The Associated Press reported, 'Tomorrow by Together and others, despite topping the Billboard 200, were not nominated, and BTS remains the only K-pop group to receive a Grammy nomination.'
On a brighter note, a significant number of female solo singers received nominations for this year's Grammy Awards. Caesar led the nominations with nine categories, while Taylor Swift received nominations in six categories.
